Description: In this study, product portfolio analysis of the Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has been performed. The data collection includes brands of cars, segment types, volume of sales, market share and market growth of HMIL is collected along with the similar data of the leading competitor in the industry. Five brands of HMIL cars are taken : i10 Grand, i20, Venue, Creta, “Aura”. Product portfolio is evaluated and analyzed using the tool “BCG growth share matrix”. Portfolio evaluation is done based on two approaches: (i) product (brand ) based evaluation and (ii) segment type based evaluation.

Description: Forecasting of time series data of beer production in Australia is performed using the Box-Jenkins method. The Box-Jenkins method is a numerical method commonly used for the forecasting the data collected on a specific time series. The Box-Jenkins method analyzes the time series data and forecasts various time series data for a period which is generally a short-period of time or near future. The forecasts using the Box-Jenkins method are generally based on the deviations among the data points of the time series.

Software Tool: The experiments for this work were conducted using R programming in RStudio on a computer with an Intel Core i5 processor and 8 GB RAM.
